Outmake takes itself off this Mac: open Settings › About and choose Uninstall…. It shows everything it keeps and how big each part is, and what you tick goes to the Trash once Outmake has quit. When it's done it says what went, and how much.
What it removes
- Chats and memory: every chat, drafts, files you added, copies kept for Undo, and what Outmake remembers about you.
- Pictures made in Outmake.
- Models you downloaded, and the engines that run them. Usually the biggest part by far.
- Agents Outmake downloaded: its own copies of the Claude and ChatGPT connectors and of OpenCode. Copies you installed yourself stay.
- Voice: its settings, what it heard and said, and Outmake's logs.
- Caches and leftovers, including files from when the app was called Puter.
- Saved keys in your keychain. These are deleted, not moved to the Trash.
- Permissions and settings: what you allowed Outmake in System Settings, its settings, and Open at Login. These are reset, not moved to the Trash.
- The app itself, last.
Anything that went to the Trash can be taken back out until you empty it. Where You Are is the one permission macOS doesn't let an app reset: turn it off in System Settings › Privacy & Security › Location Services.
What it leaves
Claude Code, Codex and OpenCode each keep their own record of the chats they ran for Outmake, in ~/.claude, ~/.codex and ~/.local/share/opencode. Those are theirs, so Outmake doesn't touch them. Pictures you saved somewhere else stay where you saved them.
By hand
If Outmake won't open, the same parts are:
~/Library/Application Support/Outmake/(chats, pictures, models, memory, agents, voice)~/Library/Logs/Outmake/~/Library/Caches/app.outmake.Outmake, and~/Library/HTTPStorages/app.outmake.Outmake~/Library/Preferences/app.outmake.Outmake.plist- Keys: open Keychain Access and search for app.outmake.Outmake.
- Permissions: System Settings › Privacy & Security, and Login Items.
